• Front End:
  Ensure customers have an impeccable CHEF’STORE experience, perform sales and cash functions using POS systems, conduct cart-to-cart checks, verify purchases at checkout, and perform store opening/closing duties as assigned.
• Sales Floor and Stocking:
  Increase sales and manage shrinkage, assist in receiving inventory, stock shelves, ensure proper labeling and pricing, down-stock freight daily with FIFO in mind, utilize available computer programs, maintain accessible and visually appealing merchandise, assist with price changes, and participate in inventory and cycle counts.
• Customer Courtesy:
  Maintain a safe, clean store environment; ensure front end, sales floor, restrooms, and parking areas are orderly; retrieve and return carts as needed; and perform other duties as assigned by Store Management.
• Other:
  May assist during special store events such as vendor fairs, floor resets, and other store activities.

• Minimum 6-12 months of retail cashier and/or stocking experience required.
• Minimum one year of retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• Preferred:
  Basic computer skills, cash handling experience, and proficiency with general office equipment.
• Must be able to work a flexible hourly schedule, including holidays and weekends; open availability including weekends is required in some shifts.
• Must be able to work in a cooler area and perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Work is in a retail store setting with standard safety practices. The role may include exposure to varying temperatures and continuous standing with occasional lifting and moving of merchandise. The pay range is $13.00/hr to $21.00/hr and compensation depends on experience, education, and location.
