Production Wrapper 3rd shift

Overview

Shift: 9:30 PM-6:00 AM. Hourly Rate: $23.00 an hour + $1.00 shift differential.

We are hiring for a Wrapper Operator on our 3rd shift at our Kent, WA food manufacturing plant. You will report to the shift supervisor and join a team of 235+ team members. This role is with Conagra Brands, known for brands like Reddi-wip, Slim Jim, Duncan Hines, BOOMCHIKPOP, Chef Boyardee, Swiss Miss and more.

Kent, Washington.

• Monitor flow of products on an average waist-high conveyor while stacking products in correct numbers for further processing in wrapping machine.
• Monitor wrapping machine and adjust speed to ensure efficient production.
• Remove defective products from the production line.
• Check bulletin board for products ordered to wrap appropriate products according to production needs.
• Perform minor maintenance on wrapping machine using hand tools.
• Tally number of units wrapped and record size, weight and type of products; line check for triangle wrapper.
• Clean work area with chemicals.
• Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
• Maintain regular attendance and work overtime to meet production deadlines.
• Can rotate to the position of Production Specialist.
• Must be free of identified pathogens spread by infected persons handling food such as Hepatitis A, Salmonella typhi, Staphylococcus aureus.
• Understand Safety/Food Safety (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.
• Other production-specific duties.

• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience required.
