Production Planner & Scheduler | Aerospace Operations (Engineering Grads Encouraged)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail‑driven Production Planner / Scheduler to convert customer purchase orders and engineering documents into accurate, efficient production plans. In this role, you will directly influence workflow across a 24/7 aerospace manufacturing facility, ensuring precision, compliance, and on‑time delivery. This position is ideal for recent engineering graduates or early‑career professionals who enjoy problem solving, organizing complex information, and supporting high‑stakes production environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review incoming customer purchase orders for accuracy and required documentation.
  • Create internal work orders and build production plans within the Syteline ERP system.
  • Develop and maintain operational schedules aligned with production capacity and customer deadlines.
  • Enter international orders into the Trade Compliance OCR system with complete accuracy.
  • Communicate with internal teams and customers to resolve order discrepancies or documentation issues.
  • Cross‑train as a Certification Technician
    , ensuring compliance with aerospace quality standards.
  • Support continuous improvement and a collaborative, team‑oriented culture.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with production planning, scheduling, or supply chain processes.
  • Proficiency with Syteline ERP
    .
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document review.
  • Understanding of purchasing, MRP, and workflow management.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional and customer interaction.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Trade Compliance OCR systems.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
  • Cross‑functional experience in certification, quality, or documentation roles.

Pay: $35

Shift: Shift is starting at 6am-2:30 for the first 6-12 months and once they are fully trained, they will move to a 10:30-7pm shift.

Preferred backgrounds are entry level mechanical engineers, chemical, electrical, or process engineers.

Work Environment

This role is located on the manufacturing floor near customer service. You must be comfortable working in a dynamic environment with frequent interruptions while maintaining accuracy and focus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $35.00/hr.
