Ferns Infrastructure is a newly established part of the business that supportslong-termoperational and commercial performance across the Group.

We’relooking for a senior commercial leader who treats the business as if it were their own. Someone who thrives in an operational environment, understands the realities of utility and infrastructure delivery, and knows how to translate operational activity into strong commercial performance.

You will own the P&L for Ferns Infrastructure, shape commercial strategy, and partner closely with operational leaders across multiple sectors including gas, water, telecoms, reinstatement,aggregate sand traffic management.

• You will take full responsibility for commercial performance, forecasting, cost management andlong-term planning.
• Working side by side with operational teams to ensure commercial insight is embedded intoday-to-day delivery.
• Support pricing, frameworks,bidsand commercial negotiations, building strong relationships withourclients.
• Provide meaningful analysis and commentary to thesenior leadership team, helping to guidelong-term strategic decisions.

• Experience in a senior commercial, commercial finance or operational leadership role within utilities, civils,infrastructureor similar sectors.
• Comfortable managing a full P&L and understanding how operational delivery affects financial outcomes.
• The ability to influence, challenge and collaborate with directors, engineers,plannersand operational teams.
• Aforward lookingmindset, ready to support a growing and diversifying organisation.
• Salary – up to £80,000 per annum
