The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Software Engineer-Developer to support our Daybreak team l o cated in Kent, Washington. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Software Engineering organization.

Position Responsibilities:

* Design, implement, and maintain cloud-native and real-time orchestration components that coordinate radar processing workflows and downstream products.
* Lead and contribute to Dev Sec Ops  pipelines: CI/CD, automated testing, secure build/release flows, and deployment automation.
* Manage multiple C++ and mixed-language code repositories, implement build/test pipelines, and maintain cross-platform compatibility and CI validation.
* Implement automated regression tests and validation suites, and ensure repeatable, auditable release processes.
* Integrate partner systems and simulation inputs (e.g., supply chain / transport simulations) to increase system fidelity and analytics.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex multi-environment bugs to increase reliability across Windows, Linux, and macOS.
* Work with product and systems teams to harden software for operational and mission environments; contribute to threat modeling and secure design reviews. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
* Strong Dev Sec Ops  experience across the software lifecycle: CI/CD pipeline design and operation, automated testing, and secure release processes.
* Proficient in C++ development and familiar with managing multiple repositories, branching strategies, and PR validation.
* Experience building and validating across platforms using Docker.
* Strong analytical background;
Masters level training in physics or equivalent research experience is highly valued and a plus for systems-level reasoning and complex problem solving.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
* Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
* Level 2: 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* 1+ years' experience in Python/C++ programming on full stack software projects/programs
* Experience with AWS, AWS Lambdas, Docker, Kubernetes
* Experience developing and maintaining REST APIs and interfaces
* Familiarity with practices such as test-driven development (TDD), agile software development, continuous integration, and dependency management is preferred.
* Experience with satellite ground mission capabilities, products, and/or customers
* Experience with Dev Sec Ops  and continuous integration (CI/CD, Jenkins, Git Lab) Drug Free Workplace:
