Overview

Contract position in Kent or Covington, Washington. Pay:

Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and strategies designed by a supervising BCBA.
  • Deliver ABA-based therapeutic services such as discrete trial training, reinforcement strategies, social skills support, and crisis intervention as needed.
  • Collect, record, and maintain accurate data on student behavior and progress in accordance with district and ABA protocols.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to integrate behavioral supports with academic goals.
  • Provide direct one-on-one or small group support in classrooms, resource rooms, or other school-based settings.
  • Support skill acquisition, communication development, social functioning, and reduction of challenging behaviors.
  • Follow district policies on safety, confidentiality, and professional conduct; participate in team meetings and trainings.
Qualifications
  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential and/or Washington State Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) license.
  • High School diploma or equivalent (additional college coursework or degree in behavioral science, education, psychology, or related field preferred).
  • Completed supervised training in ABA techniques; ability to follow BIP protocols with fidelity.
  • Experience working with children, especially in school, clinical, or special education settings preferred.
  • Ability to pass fingerprint/background check and meet all state and district employment requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and data-recording skills.
  • Patience, reliability, and a positive approach to student engagement.
  • Experience collaborating as part of multi-disciplinary teams.
