A school psychologist opportunity is available in Kent, WA, serving the needs of local educational settings. This role involves supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development through psychological services and collaboration with educators, families, and community resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results to inform instructional strategies.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies tailored to student needs.
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student well-being and academic success.
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed.
  • Utilize data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for students.
  • Travel between assigned schools as required to deliver services.
Qualifications And Experience
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a school psychologist.
  • Experience conducting psycho educational assessments and developing IEPs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse student populations and educational staff.
  • Flexibility to travel within the district to various school locations.
