• Verifying vehicles and repairs to be performed.
• Examine and inspect vehicle integrity, including panels, wheels, previous repair work, paint color and texture, etc.
• Record noted imperfections and/or damage and reviews with supervisor, developing an action plan for vehicle repair
• Repairing and/or replacing damaged panels or other body components as directed.
• Setting an example for safety and health procedures.
• Works with supervisor and technicians to understand required parts, supplies, and materials.
• Communicates with procurement to acquire necessary parts, supplies, and materials if not in stock.
• Tracks, receives, inventories and distributes parts/supplies in a timely manner.
• Maintains shop supply inventory at acceptable levels.
• Investigates and addresses technical and/or process issues.
• Alerts estimators and/or management about difficult issues, patterns and trends.
• Performing other duties as assigned by management.

You’re a master craftsperson. You’re not bothered by a busy, noisy body shop; in fact, that’s where you thrive. Requirements include:

• 5+ years of experience of collision repair. Journeyman Auto Body Technician
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Respirator fit test certificate.
• 1+ years of customer service experience is preferred.

Compensation:

Hourly pay rate is $22.79 - $34.23/hour. The hourly rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
