You ll get your hands dirty learning the ins and outs of the automotive technician field. With guidance, you ll develop new skills to add to your growing toolbox. Other responsibilities include:

• Serve as an entry-level auto tech performing light duty maintenance.
• Gain familiarity with auto maintenance concepts and practices.
• Perform auto maintenance tech duties, including oil and filter change, fuel filter change, transmission flush and vehicle inspection.
• Perform battery testing, maintenance and replacement.
• Perform various repairs including tires, safety inspections and interior/exterior components.
• Comply with regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires and disposable trash.
• Utilize approved vendors to obtain parts needed.

You love working with your hands and your mind. You re passionate about vehicle technology and love to stay up to date on best practices in the auto world. You also have the following qualifications:

• Generally, less than 2 years of experience.
• The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver s license required.

• A high school diploma or GED.

MCCOX

USD 18.17 - 27.21 per hour

Hourly base pay rate is $18.17 - $27.21/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
