Summary

Our Receptionists play a pivotal role at Columbia Distributing. This position is the first point of contact for all visitors.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Answer phones promptly and greet external and internal customers as first point of contact for the company and correctly transfer callers to appropriate person/department, when applicable
  • Represent the company in a professional manner when dealing with all telephone calls and visitors
  • Receive and distribute mail to appropriate boxes
  • Manage and distribute any assigned reports
  • Provide excellent customer service to assigned accounts
  • Develop and maintain positive, cooperative and team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers and others you come into contact with throughout your job
  • Accurately clock in and out, adhering to state labor laws
  • Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned by Office Manager
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with those of the Company's Core Values at all times

This is a full-time position. Typically working hours are between 8am and 5pm.

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
Preferred

Education and Experience
  • One (1) year of administrative/receptionist experience
  • Experience with an AS400 system
Compensation
  • Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
  • Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Employees are also eligible for 80 hours of vacation every year and 7-8 days of paid holidays throughout the calendar year (depending on location).
