Accounting Clerk

Description

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support our financial operations in Kent, Washington. This Contract position involves handling essential accounting tasks such as invoicing, billing, collections, and vendor communications. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and proficiency in tools like Net Suite.

Responsibilities:

- Process and code weekly invoices with precision to ensure accurate and timely payments.

- Conduct weekly check runs across multiple entities, adhering to company policies and procedures.

- Generate and distribute customer invoices while maintaining detailed transaction records.

- Perform consistent follow-ups on outstanding accounts to facilitate timely collections.

- Address vendor inquiries with professionalism, ensuring clear and prompt communication.

- Monitor and manage office supply inventory to support daily operations effectively.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting practices and standards.

- Adapt to shifting priorities and assist with additional tasks as needed.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable.

- Strong proficiency in data entry and invoice processing.

- Familiarity with Net Suite and Acumatica accounting software.

- Solid understanding of billing and collections processes.

- Ability to code and categorize financial transactions accurately.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Strong communication abilities to interact with vendors and team members.

- Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
