LXA; Level Crossing Attendant

Position: LXA (Level Crossing Attendant)
Teamforce Labour are currently recruiting experienced LXAs for long-term rail infrastructure projects across Kent and the South East. This role is ideal for safety-conscious and reliable individuals seeking stable, ongoing work within the rail sector.

Role & Responsibilities:

Operating and monitoring level crossings in line with Network Rail procedures
Ensuring the safe passage of trains, vehicles, and pedestrians
Communicating effectively with signallers and site management
Maintaining constant vigilance and responding appropriately to incidents or irregularities
Completing all required safety checks, logs, and documentation
Complying fully with railway rules, standards, and safety regulations

Requirements:

Valid LXA competency (Network Rail approved)
PTS with ICI
Sound knowledge of Network Rail rules and level crossing procedures
Right to work in the UK
Full PPE
Drug & alcohol and medical in date Desirable (but not essential):

Previous experience on long-term rail projects
Additional rail competencies
