Temporary Assessor - Plumbing

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Assessor in Plumbing to support the delivery of synoptic assessments.

Role Overview

This role involves the assessment of synoptic assessment only for Level 2 and Level 3 Plumbing learners. The successful candidate will assess learners' practical and theoretical performance in line with awarding body requirements and complete all associated documentation accurately.

Key Responsibilities

Assess Level 2 and Level 3 Plumbing learners undertaking synoptic assessments

Apply assessment processes in line with City & Guilds 8202 requirements

Complete assessment paperwork and reports to a high standard

Provide clear and constructive feedback to learners

Maintain accurate IT-based records

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience and sound understanding of City & Guilds 8202 Level 2 & 3 Plumbing synoptic assessment processes

Relevant industry experience within Plumbing

Strong understanding of Level 2 and Level 3 Plumbing theory and practical tasks

Good IT skills and report writing ability

Essential Qualifications

Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Plumbing

Level 3 Assessing Qualification (e.g. CAVA or equivalent)

Hours

37 hours per week

Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm

Friday: 8:30am - 4:30pm

The role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
