About the role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Band 5 Registered Nurse to join the new Endoscopy Alternative Pathway Team. This role supports a brand‑new service that includes Trans Nasal Endoscopy, small and large bowel capsule procedures and aspects of the capsule sponge service. You will work as part of a team alongside Nurse Endoscopists, Specialist Nurses, and other members of the multi‑disciplinary team, managing patient care throughout the diagnostic process and ensuring the service meets the highest standards of clinical care and efficiency.

• Assist with the development of a new innovative service for the trust.
• Provide a supportive training environment guided by robust competency documentation.
• Contribute to the safe delivery of patient’s individual care within the service.
• Support the Capsule Sponge aspect of the service and provide clinical coverage during procedure assistance, recovery and discharge for patients having trans nasal endoscopy and bowel capsules.
