Responsibilities- Responsible for the assessment of children and young people entering the Emergency Department, prioritisation of treatment, delivery of care and evaluation.
- The post holder is expected to carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision and required to demonstrate procedures and to supervise qualified and/or unqualified staff.
- As a Junior Sister / Charge Nurse the post holder may often be in-charge of the department on a shift basis.
