About the Company

A well-established and highly respected engineering business with over 40 years' experience delivering complex industrial refrigeration solutions across the UK is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join its growing team.
Operating within sectors such as food production, cold storage, distribution and manufacturing, the company is recognised for technical excellence, quality service delivery and long-standing client relationships. This vacancy has arisen due to continued growth.

The Role

This is a key position within the service team requiring strong industrial refrigeration experience.
Working alongside the Service Manager, you will oversee maintenance operations across industrial refrigeration contracts. The role would suit an experienced Maintenance Manager or a strong Supervisor looking to step up.
You will be responsible for booking in planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring compliance across service agreements, meeting clients and maintaining strong working relationships. You will also support the commercial performance of maintenance contracts, ensuring work is delivered efficiently and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with the Service Manager to oversee maintenance delivery

Schedule and coordinate planned and reactive maintenance

Ensure compliance across industrial refrigeration service contracts

Meet clients regularly and maintain strong relationships

Monitor performance of contracts and support margin control

Oversee documentation, reporting and service standards

Support engineers and provide operational leadership

Requirements

Proven experience within industrial refrigeration (essential)

Strong knowledge of ammonia and large-scale plant systems

Experience managing maintenance contracts and compliance

Background as a Supervisor, Senior Engineer or Maintenance Manager

Strong organisational and client-facing skills

Good commercial awareness
