Job Responsibilities

Lead and manage Safeguarding West Service, including strategic and operational direction.

Oversee the operation of two Contact Centres to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

Work collaboratively with partner agencies to support the best outcomes for children and families.

Contribute to the Senior Management Team, promoting continuous learning, reflection, and innovation.

Implement Bromley Council’s transformation programme and support the ‘Making Bromley Even Better’ objectives.

Ensure services are delivered in line with Council values, behaviours, and standards of excellence.

Support staff development and maintain a diverse and inclusive working environment.

Person Specification

Must-Have Requirements:

Proven experience as a senior leader in safeguarding services.

Strong strategic and operational management skills.

Experience overseeing multi-team services or contact centres.

Ability to work collaboratively with partners and stakeholders.

Commitment to delivering high-quality services and continuous improvement.

Nice-to-Have Requirements:

Experience in local government or large public sector organisations.

Knowledge of transformation programmes or service improvement initiatives.

Familiarity with hybrid working models and office-based team management.
