Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, the company is seeking qualified Solar PV / Battery Storage Electrical Engineers to join its expanding delivery team.
The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for qualified electrical engineers with experience in Solar PV, battery storage and/or EV charging to work across a diverse portfolio of renewable energy projects.
Engineers must be flexible and comfortable working across multiple sectors, travelling to various sites when required. A clear training and progression pathway is available, including opportunities to step into Team Lead positions.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality installations while ensuring full compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities- Install and maintain Solar PV systems, battery storage units and EV charging infrastructure
- Carry out electrical testing, commissioning and fault finding
- Ensure compliance with BS 7671 and all relevant safety standards
- Prepare and maintain accurate installation documentation and certification
- Communicate effectively with clients and site teams
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery
- Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and health & safety compliance
- City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- Inspection & Testing (2391 / 2394 & 2395 or equivalent)
- AM2 / AM2S (or working towards)
- Valid ECS Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
- DBS check (required)
- First Aid at Work
- Ladder Safety
- Working at Heights
- PASMA / IPAF
- Strong industry knowledge within renewable energy
- Excellent time management and self-organisation
- Ability to assess own performance and support team performance
- Clear communication of technical information to customers and colleagues
- Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
- Experience working both independently and within a team environment
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines consistently
- £35,000 – £65,000 basic salary (dependent on experience and level)
