Job Title: Plumbing Lecturer (Part-Time)

Location: Ashford
Hours: 12.25 contact hours per week
Contract Type: Temporary

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Plumbing Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching to learners studying Level 2 and Level 3 Plumbing qualifications. This role involves delivering both theoretical knowledge and practical workshop-based training, ensuring learners develop the skills required to succeed in the plumbing industry.

The successful candidate will teach and assess learners working towards the City & Guilds 8202 qualifications at Levels 2 and 3.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Plumbing at Level 2 and Level 3
  • Deliver both classroom-based theory and practical workshop sessions
  • Assess and track learner progress in line with awarding body requirements
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to learners
  • Ensure health and safety standards are maintained at all times
  • Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong understanding of the City & Guilds 8202 qualifications (Level 2 & Level
    3)
  • Industry-relevant experience within the plumbing sector
  • Secure knowledge of plumbing theory and practical installation tasks
  • Ability to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Essential Qualifications

  • Level 2 & 3 Qualification in Plumbing
  • Teaching qualification desirable
