Job Summary
We have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Band 3 Dental Receptionist in Community Dental Services at Appleby Dental in Inner North East London (INEL). This role involves administrative and reception tasks for special care patients in community settings across the London boroughs of Hackney, Tower Hamlets, and Newham.
Services offered include Sedation, Special Care Dentistry, Paediatric Dentistry, Domiciliary care, Bariatric care, and a Dental Mobile service for the homeless and medium secure unit.
Responsibilities- Provide high‑quality customer service to patients and visitors, supporting the dental team effectively.
- Perform reception duties, greet patients, and manage daily schedules and dental records for efficient operations.
- Execute administrative tasks as directed by the Dentist or Dental Nurse team leader to support clinic functions.
- Implement service initiatives adhering to standards such as CQC, Dental Practice Inspections, SOPs, and Health & Safety Risk Assessments.
- Demonstrate independence, proactivity, and the ability to work under pressure, including filing medical records alphabetically.
