Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Residential Developer - up to £55,000 base - Kent

Potensis are delighted to partner with a Leading National Residential Developer who are seeking an experienced and driven Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis. The business is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking a dedicated professional to help drive its success.

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor working with our Client’s dedicated Building Safety Team, you’ll be responsible for preparing budgets, managing costs, and ensuring that building Safety and Compliance projects are delivered on time and within budget.

This gives you the opportunity to gain experience in this growing specialised sector.

Additionally, given the recent developments to regulations, you will have a secure pipeline of work for many years to come.

The right candidate will have:

• A solid background in residential construction, with a proven track record in cost management and commercial competence.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
• Experience using COINS Software (or similar)

If you do not have some of these skills, do not worry. As an assistant, you are not expected to have mastery over every aspect of the industry, and my client are happy to offer an excellent training program, and will be glad to foster your development as a Quantity Surveyor.

You will be required to commute to the Client’s office in North-East Kent 4 days per week.
