We are seeking a talented Quality Technician to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of excellence and innovation.
Standard work hours are from 8:00 am - 3:30 pm with a half-hour break for lunch. Flexible on-site hours are available from 7 am to 5 pm.
The day-to-day duties and responsibilities of an Assembler involve interpreting product blueprints and handling various tools. An Assembler should be someone who can work well in a team environment and collaborate with purchasing and Engineering.
Responsibilities- Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.
- Discern the quality of parts and materials used in production.
- Inventory parts and tools used in the assembly process.
- Follow company procedures and directives.
- Test finished products for defects.
- Maintain the tools used to create products.
- Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.
- Supply your own hand tools.
- All power tools and consumable items will be provided.
- Must be able to read a mearing tape and understand fractions and decimals.
- Welding (Tig, Mig, Stick, and Oxy Acetylene)
- Metal fabrication
- Machining on Mills and Lathes
- Electrical experience with panel wiring and PLC based systems.
- Good communication skills
- Physical fitness and strength to lift and operate heavy electrical machinery
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to operate power tools such as table saws, chop saws, horizontal and vertical band saws
- Ability to create and interpret technical documentation
- Basic computer skills such as emailing, record keeping, inventory management, and form filing are a plus.
- Willingness to work in flexible shifts
- Willingness to travel for 1 - 2 week periods, 1 - 2 times per year for installation of equipment when required. A passport will be required.
