Maintenance Technician

Overview

Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician who is flexible, detail‑oriented, and enjoys solving tough problems repairing equipment? We are looking for an individual to join a local company as a 2nd shift Maintenance Tech. This person will be responsible for providing industrial maintenance support to ensure the safe and effective operation of the production facility. Key responsibilities include equipment setup, teardown, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and facility maintenance.

Salary: $55,000 – $72,800 per year.
Shift: 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) with a $3 shift differential. OT every other Saturday 9 AM – 1 PM. Working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week.

• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and respond promptly to work orders to ensure maximum equipment uptime.
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical failures across specialized production equipment, including coaters, laminators, printers, and presses.
• Perform comprehensive facility maintenance
  , including structural repairs and grounds upkeep, to ensure a safe and operational environment.
• Lead equipment enhancement projects by installing, modifying, and upgrading machinery to improve efficiency and output.
• Maintain a culture of safety by keeping work spaces organized (5S) and adhering to all OSHA and facility safety protocols.
• Collaborate in a small team environment (2‑person 2nd shift) to drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
