Plumbing Service Manager

Location: Kent, OH (Serving Northeast Ohio Region)

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Service Manager with strong leadership capabilities to lead and manage a team of 8–10 residential service technicians and installers. This is a hands‑on field leadership role that combines advanced plumbing expertise with team supervision, operational oversight, and customer service excellence.

The ideal candidate has a strong residential plumbing background and a proven track record of managing field teams in a fast-paced service environment.

Candidates must be located within or willing to commute within the Kent, Ohio service area.

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 8–10 plumbing technicians and installers
• Oversee daily field operations, service quality, and job performance
• Ensure compliance with Ohio plumbing codes and safety standards
• Support scheduling, dispatch coordination, and workload management
• Provide hands‑on technical guidance when needed
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through service excellence
• Coach and develop technicians to improve performance and skill growth
• Monitor productivity, efficiency, and overall team results

• Advanced‑level plumbing expertise with the ability to oversee complex residential service and installation projects
• Minimum 3–5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in plumbing or skilled trades
• 5–15 years of total plumbing experience
• Strong residential plumbing background (service, repair, and installation required)
• Proven people leadership or supervisory experience
• Experience managing plumbing technicians, installers, or skilled trades teams

• Experience managing teams of 8–10+ technicians
• Background in residential service and repair (not solely new construction)
• Experience in field service operations (dispatching, scheduling, team coordination)
• Customer‑facing service management experience
• Strong knowledge of local Ohio plumbing codes and regulations
• Career progression demonstrating increasing responsibility in the plumbing trade
• Experience in performance management and field operations leadership
• Active Plumbing Contractor License (State of Ohio preferred)
