WI Resource Registered Nurse (RN) – Ambulatory (FT)

What You’ll Do / Responsibilities
  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in delivering and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.

    Responsibilities include:
  • Providing safe, therapeutic, evidence‑based nursing care in alignment with established standards, policies, and procedures
  • Demonstrating adaptability by floating to multiple care environments within a designated Zone, integrating quickly into new departments, and collaborating with diverse teams
  • Leading efforts that support the safest patient environment and best possible patient experience
  • Coordinating care for diverse patient populations within various acute‑care, hospital outpatient departments and clinic settings
  • Maintaining the competency required to practice in all facilities within the designated zone
  • Ambulatory Float RNs support Day Surgeries, Pain Management, Surgery Center, GI Services, and possibly Wound Care
What We’re Looking For / Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • ACLS
  • Experience:

    Minimum 1 year Ambulatory or ICU RN experience required; 2 years strongly preferred

  • Shift: 8-hour shifts (start time vary based on procedure schedule);
    Days – NO CALL, WEEKENDS or HOLIDAYS

    Zone 3:
    St. Luke's, South Shore, Mount Pleasant, Summit, Kenosha, Lakeland, Burlington, Pleasant Prairie Hospice & Racine Surgery Center
