Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job OverviewThe primary purpose of a CNA is to support medical staff in administering care to patients with various injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. Responsibilities include helping patients with bathing, hygiene, feeding, medication, and vital sign assessments.
Job Responsibilities- Resident-centered care
- Assistance with ADLs, mobility, positioning, bathing, toileting, and dining
- Monitoring and reporting patient conditions
- Ensuring safety for residents and staff
- Responding promptly to call lights
- Collaborating with the care team
- Maintaining CNA certification through training and education
