Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Radiation Therapist located in Milwaukee, WI. The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for administering prescribed radiation treatments to patients, ensuring the highest standards in patient care and safety. Responsibilities include accurately implementing treatment plans, preparing and maintaining equipment, adhering to radiation safety protocols, and maintaining detailed treatment records. The Radiation Therapist will work closely with the medical team to provide compassionate and professional care to patients undergoing radiation therapy.
Qualifications- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required
- Strong understanding of and experience with Radiation Safety and handling procedures
- Knowledge of Dosimetry and the ability to accurately follow treatment plans
- Proficiency in radiation and medical protocols related to therapeutic applications
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction
- Ability to work collaboratively with a medical team
- Previous experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is preferred
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy or related field
