Apprentice – Heavy Duty Mechanic, Electrician, and Millwright

Join a leading gold mining operation in Ontario committed to safety, sustainability, and professional development. We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as apprentices in key trades supporting our underground and surface operations. Reporting to the Trades Specific Maintenance Supervisor or designate, the successful candidate will work a 5/2 - 4/3 schedule.

As an apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced tradespeople to develop your skills in one of the following areas:

• Heavy Duty Mechanic – Maintain and repair mining equipment such as loaders, haul trucks, and drills.
• Electrician – Assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in a mining environment.
• Millwright – Support the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, conveyors, pumps, and other mill equipment.

• Assist in routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Learn and apply safety procedures and protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Participate in training and development programs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enrollment in or eligibility for a recognized apprenticeship program in Ontario.
• Strong interest in the mining industry and mechanical/electrical trades.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding and safety-conscious environment.
• Willingness to work in remote locations and on a rotational schedule.
• Valid class G drivers license.
