Overview

Production Manager – Aircraft Maintenance (M1 Licensed AME)

Superior Airways, a leading charter airline based in Red Lake, Ontario, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our maintenance team. We operate a diverse fleet of turbine and piston-powered aircraft (including King Air 200, Cessna Caravan’s (amphib/wheels), Piper Chieftain, and De Havilland Beaver/Otter on floats) providing vital passenger and freight services across Northwestern Ontario and Manitoba.

Compensation and schedule

  • $95,000–$110,000 annually (based on experience/qualifications)
  • Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (occasional overtime)
  • Staff housing available
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the PRM in planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to minimize aircraft downtime.
  • Oversee daily AMO operations, ensuring full compliance with CARs, MPM, and manufacturer manuals.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of AMEs and technicians in a positive, safety-focused environment.
  • Manage work orders, and production reporting (experience with Win Air an asset).
  • Promote best practices, SOP development, and continuous improvement in maintenance processes.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years aircraft maintenance experience, including 3+ years in supervision/management
  • Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and safety mindset
