Job Overview

A large Data Center in Boardman, OR is hiring multiple Data Center Technicians Level 2 to join the team for a great opportunity!

• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of server hardware and networking equipment.
• Execute routine hardware installations, upgrades, and decommissioning tasks.
• Monitor and respond to system alerts and upscale issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and inventory used.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure operational excellence.

• Knowledge in the hyperscaler space, liquid cooling, and AI/ML type hosts, particularly GPU‑based systems.
• Strong networking knowledge (OSI layers 1–3, TCP/UDP, DHCP handshake, subnetting) and hands‑on hardware experience, especially with home labs or GPU architecture.
• 2‑3+ years of prior IT related experience with previous Data Center/Cabling exp.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be willing to commute out to the areas of Boardman, Umatilla and Hermiston, OR.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.

This is a Contract position based out of Kennewick, WA.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
