DescriptionWe’re looking for a positive and professional hotel front desk agent to deliver an exceptional experience to every guest at our hotel. We are looking for part-time, approximately 16 hours a week, but it could be more. always willing to cross-train. Shifts would be 3 pm-11 pm, and weekends are required, although we do rotate the weekends. You will learn all shifts during training, including 7-3 pm & 11 pm-7 am.
You’ll welcome guests, manage their information, distribute their keys and room assignments, and answer any general inquiries to ensure they have an excellent stay with us. Responsibilities- Take incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guests’ needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests
- Communicate with housekeeping to make sure guest rooms are ready
- Welcome, register, check in, and check out guests staying at the hotel, provide keys and room numbers, and record credit card information
- General bookkeeping: ensure all hotel guest account information is accurate and up-to-date
- Field customer complaints when necessary
- Experience in customer service or hospitality roles, ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently, such as managing bookings and addressing guest inquiries
- Proven track record of effective communication, both in person and over the phone, to provide clear and helpful information
- Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate guest records and manage bookings seamlessly
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of our guests
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with booking software to manage reservations and guest information
- Experience in resolving guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring a positive outcome for all parties involved
$17.50 - $18 hourly
