Registered Nurse (RN), Cardiac Rehabilitation | Job Type: PRN | Days | Part-Time
Wage scale: $40.81 - $75.65 per hour
This is a Union Position.
Position SummaryWorks in collaboration with the nurses and exercise physiologists in the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation program to care for patients with recent cardiac or pulmonary events.
Reports to:
Cardiac Rehabilitation Program Director
- Assisting with the patient process flows, such as cardiac telemetry monitoring, vital signs, patient education, patient assessment, maintaining exercise prescriptions for the patient, setting exercise machines, etc
- Assists in cleaning/sanitizing/maintaining equipment. Attends in-services as required for position.
- Assists in maintaining logs as needed.
- Identifies and pursues opportunities to expand professional development; examples might include: committee participation, conducts brown-bag sessions, takes professional development courses, and attends non-mandatory educational offerings.
- Assists with orientation and training of others as directed.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
Education: Associate s Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor s Degree in Nursing preferred.
License/
Certifications:
Current RN license in state of practice
BCLS and ACLS required
