* Job Description:

**** The supplemental Mammography Technologist will fill in for vacation and sick calls based on department need at Inland Imaging Tri-Cities in Kennewick, WA.*
* ** This position will be eligible for a 12% supplemental differential pay.

* Summary:

** Responsible for the operation of dedicated mammography equipment to perform radiologic procedures. Typical duties including operating equipment, applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Responsible for obtaining the highest quality radiological exams under the direct or indirect supervision of a radiologist per established ACR and Inland Imaging guidelines and protocols.

* Maintains high standard of technical skills in modality by:  + Performs diagnostic and screening mammographic studies
* Performs mammograms to ACR standards  + Appropriate views for particular exam as per radiologist/department protocol  + Ability to perform acceptable alternatives when patient condition requires them  + Ability to physically assist patient to obtain high quality mammogram exam
* Applies prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis
* Maintains working knowledge of mammography equipment
* Completes exam paperwork, coding for billing, patient data for tracking, patient history
* Maintains stocked, organized and clean working area including equipment, technologist core area and exam rooms
* Responds to requests from patients on information, scheduling or other departments
* This position may be required to work in a hospital, urgent care or clinical setting
* Must physically be able to position and maneuver patients to perform mammographic studies.

* Quarterly quality assurance meeting attendance is required for this position.
