Qualifications and requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of Accredited Medical Assistant Program or equivalent required.

* Current Washington CCMA, CMA, certification via AAMA or NHA. must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

* Current American Heart Association BLS certificate or obtained within 30 days of hire.

* Require critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

* Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

* works under the supervision of a Physician or Nurse, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.

* Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition.

* Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.

* Maintains examination areas.

* Assists with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean, and orderly.
