We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer who is excited to solve complex challenges, collaborate with talented multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to projects that shape communities. As a key member of our engineering team, you will support Project Managers (or be the Project Manager!), guide design development, elevate quality standards, and help move projects from concept to completion with precision and purpose.
What You Will Do- Lead mechanical system design, engineering calculations, and preparation of drawings and specifications.
- Partner closely with structural, electrical, and project management teams to drive scope development, estimates, and technical solutions.
- Participate in client and internal project meetings, ensuring clear communication, accurate coordination, and reliable execution.
- Support QA reviews and uphold established engineering standards to ensure every deliverable reflects our commitment to excellence.
- Respond to RFIs, troubleshoot design challenges, and support construction-phase coordination.
- Provide mentorship and day-to-day technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
- Contribute fresh ideas, process improvements, and technical insights to strengthen our growing team.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain it within a reasonable timeframe
- 10 or more years of experience in mechanical engineering design
- Experience serving as a project engineer or assisting in project management responsibilities
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
- Ability to manage priorities, lead portions of design efforts, and maintain excellent attention to detail
- 100k to 125k DOE
