Business Development Officer – Kennewick, WA – Full Time

As a Business Development Officer for HFG Trust, your primary objective is to drive the growth of the company by developing high-quality client events and community engagement strategies that support financial advisors in growing their book of business.

Description

The position focuses on attracting and cultivating high‑value relationships, enhancing the client experience, and ensuring a collaborative, service‑first team environment. This includes fostering a culture of growth throughout the business development team, assisting in the growth of young advisors and growing a connection between the firm and the community. The overall task is to help the firm achieve its strategic growth goals while presenting a professional, client‑centric brand that accurately reflects the quality of service and expertise of a top‑tier wealth management company.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Promote the business by building community relationships
  • Event sponsorship and partnership development
  • Collaborate with financial advisors to understand their target audiences and align event themes to their goals.
  • Manage event logistics along with the marketing manager, including vendor coordination, guest list curation, and on‑site execution, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Measure event success through post‑event evaluations and provide actionable insights to improve future events.
  • Promote the business by building community relationships
Lead Generation and Community Engagement:
  • Develop and execute community outreach strategies to identify and cultivate high‑net‑worth individuals and potential clients.
  • Build strategic relationships with community influencers, organizations, and business leaders to foster referrals and partnership opportunities.
  • Actively network and attend community events to represent the firm and enhance its visibility and reputation.
  • Ensure timely follow‑up and lead nurturing through CRM systems and collaboration with financial advisors.
Business Development Event Management:
  • Lead event workshops and seminar development efforts
  • Design, implement, and manage high‑quality client events tailored to the needs and interests of prospective clients.
  • Design, implement and management appreciation events for existing clients that foster referral growth and client retention culture.
Collaboration with Financial Advisors:
  • Work closely with financial advisors to understand their client acquisition objectives and provide support through lead generation and event opportunities.
  • Exhibit humility and teamwork to create a cohesive and supportive relationship with all advisors and staff.
  • Facilitate seamless handoffs of leads and prospects to financial advisors, maintaining transparency and clear communication throughout the process.
