Transportation Coordinator in Kennett, MO.
NHC Health Care Kennett is looking for a Transportation Coordinator to join our team. This role involves meeting and assisting our passengers, coordinating transportation activities, and supporting the group with a focus on maintaining client confidentiality.
Responsibilities- Set up and schedule appointments for residents.
- Transport residents to appointments and other activities as assigned.
- Perform duties in a manner that preserves resident confidentiality and dignity.
- CNA certification (CNA Certified).
- Valid State Driver's License.
- Must be able to pass a Chauffeur's license test and pass a background check.
- CPR/AED certification (We can assist you in obtaining this).
- Own a smart phone.
- Must not have a physical impairment that would prevent safe driving or performing essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Ability to read, write, and converse in English.
- Ability to use a GPS/technology system and read maps.
- Physical ability to lift and/or pull up to 50 pounds and assist passengers into and out of the vehicle; including pushing a loaded wheelchair up and down a ramp/lift, into or out of the vehicle.
- Ability to climb in and out of the vehicle and to bend/reach to secure wheelchairs or stretchers inside the vehicle.
- Ability to sit for extended periods depending on transportation duration.
Experience with southern hospitality while working with a variety of patients in our 170-bed facility. Many partners have worked at NHC for 20+ years.
