Outside Sales Representative at Empire Today – Territory
Location:
Kennesaw, GA.
Employment type:
full-time. This role involves meeting face-to-face with customers in their homes to help find the best flooring products for their needs. The position features uncapped commissions and performance-based bonuses, with access to benefits.
- Represent Empire Today by meeting with customers in their homes and assisting them in selecting flooring products that fit their needs.
- Generate and follow up on hot leads, typically within a 1-hour radius of the territory.
- Utilize the strength of a well-known brand to drive referrals and prospect additional customers.
- Participate in paid training and continuous learning to develop sales skills.
- Attend sales meetings and trainings (in person and virtually) as required.
- Present professionally, including Empire-branded apparel.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional interactions with customers.
- 100% commission with commission bonuses; earning potential is uncapped.
- Average first-year earnings typically range from $50k–$70k; top performers earn well over $100k.
- Company benefits packages available; paid training.

- Valid driver’s license and a vehicle with room for approximately 50 sample boards; ability to drive with the boards for demonstrations.
- Valid auto insurance.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 25 lbs.
- Availability for evening and weekend appointments; ability to attend meetings in person and virtually.
- Business development: achieve a monthly minimum of self-generated sales.
- Proficiency with tablets and measuring devices for presentations and contract preparation.
- Present professionally, including Empire-branded apparel.
- Proven ability to drive locally to meet customers in their homes; own vehicle required.
- Strong customer service skills and professional presentation.
- Ability to use electronic tablets and measurement devices in sales presentations.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
