Position Summary

Reporting to the District Manager, the General Manager leads the day‑to‑day operations of a single store to achieve sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, inventory control, brand representation, and growth and development of team members.

Vision and Purpose
  • Communicate performance expectations and ensure all team members understand how their performance drives company success.
  • Coach and develop the store staff to represent the brand consistently and to execute store visuals and marketing.
  • Support and communicate corporate initiatives and execute corporate plans.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and integrity in all interactions with customers and team members.
Customer Obsession
  • Ensure team members and self deliver exceptional customer experience through training, outreach, communication and clear expectations.
  • Empower team members to resolve customer issues within established parameters and drive high customer service through follow‑up.
  • Compile and follow up on customer requests.
Critical Thinking & verzekering innovative Action
  • Achieve sales projections and quotas set by the Company and develop strategies to maximize personal and team sales.
  • Observe operations to identify successes and improvement opportunities.
  • Coach store staff to address and correct issues.

  • Keep management informed about market, merchandising, payment programs of competitors and advise on changes.
  • Implement initiatives that change behaviors to produce results.

  • Typical hours are a five‑day, 40‑hour work week during non‑peak periods; hours increase during peak selling periods.
Work Schedule
  • During non‑peak periods, a five‑day, 40‑hour work week is expected.
  • Schedule based on effective business operation, including opening and closing shifts and time for coaching and training.
  • Operating hours, coverage and customer traffic must be considered.
Position Qualifications
  • Education:

    Minimum of 2 years of college preferred.
  • Experience:

    At least 3 years of retail sales experience, OR 2 years of retail sales experience plus a minimum of 1 year of retail management experience.
  • Preference for candidates with specialty retail or jewelry experience.
  • Preference for candidates who are Diamond Council of America (DCA) certified.
  • Advanced communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficient with computers, advanced proficiency in MS Office and other related business technology.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build employee and.harrel relations.
  • Advanced presentation skills for team member training and customer presentations.
