Lens Crafters - Assistant Manager

Location: Kennesaw, GA

Assists in leading the store operations as a business owner, representing Lens Crafters as the premier destination for vision care within the community.

• Deliver quality and improvement to exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) such as compensation sales, % sales to plan, conversion & customer count, sales growth, increased traffic, store operating profitability, continuity of care, exam growth & retention goals, net promoter score, and current year objectives.
• Understand retail business to translate positive sales and business results, and understand market and competitors.
• Support store business plans to maximize sales & profit.
• Partner with the store manager to lead and develop the team.
• Provide clear, constructive, timely feedback and partner with the store manager on development.
• Execute visual directives and maintain store appearance.
• Maintain positive working relationship with doctors.
• Promote team compliance with all policies.
• Perform administrative duties.
• Work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of management/supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Knowledge of retail operations, processes and policies.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Strong command of English for written correspondence and oral communication.
• Strong communicator & listener.
• High-level selling skills.
• Proven ability to problem solve.

• College degree or equivalent.
• Previous leadership experience within retail & customer service industry.
• Knowledge of basic optics.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise.
• State licensure (if applicable) &/or ABO Certification in non-licensed states.
• Brand Final Inspector Certification.
• Brand Quality, Fitting & Adjusting Program.

Pay range: $31.17 per hour (actual pay depends on geography, experience, qualifications and local minimum wage requirements). Employees may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first‑class total rewards package.
