We’re seeking a Full-Time Assistant Manager to help lead the store and support the Store Manager in achieving store objectives related to sales targets, recruiting, and development.

• Support your Store Manager in achieving the sales plan and/or comparable sales goals.
• Help recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative, passionate team to run the store.
• Drive customer engagement through promotion of new products and use of channels such as social media, and services like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Provide leadership to run an operationally sound business with a balance of operations, delegation/autonomy, and customer-first selling practices.
• Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, and associate schedules.
• Collaborate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback.
• Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy to hit sales targets.
• Merchandise the store in a compelling way using planograms as a guide and launch promos on time.
• Develop a team of loyal, high-performing, customer-focused associates in partnership with the Store Manager.

• At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience. If you love music and pop culture, you’re in the right place.
• Experience leading teams to success with skills in communication, recruiting, operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising), and developing others.
• Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and drive to develop your team.
• A high school diploma or GED; a degree is a plus.
• Adaptability to the fast-changing retail environment and ability to handle curveballs.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise using approved equipment, and handle packaging of merchandise up to 50 pounds.
