Chemical Operator, 2nd Shift

Overview

Starting pay $25.12 per hour

Schedule: 2:00PM-10:30PM on 2nd shift. Training on 1st shift 6:00AM-2:30PM for 2-3 months, then transition to 2nd shift.

Location: Atlanta, GA

Immediate opening.

Note: This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations. Accordingly, only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply.

Identification required with application: Passport, (2) Birth Certificate, (3) Certificate of Naturalization (USCIS Form N-550 or N-570), or (4) Permanent Resident Card (USCIS Form I-551).

• Functions include setting up, filling, mixing and/or delivering production chemicals used in a manufacturing or process area where accuracy of chemical composition is important (e.g., wafer, ink toner, media).
• Reads and comprehends from written and verbal instructions on work orders (after trained).
• Removes and disposes of waste chemicals, solvents and acids per Haz Com training requirements.
• Performs basic maintenance (TPM) of production equipment and cleans pots and tanks for production.
• May be required to assist in chemical spills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
• Must be able to be certified/pass medical test to wear a respirator.
• Must be able to pass basic math test.
• Must be able to be certified as a forklift operator.
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
