Responsibilities- Packing frozen food items (cheesecake).
- Communicate with team members to ensure work is being done timely and efficiently.
- Work in a safe manner following all safety guidelines.
- Ensure safe quality food production by following GMPs, keeping work area, tools, and supplies clean, organized and sanitary throughout the work shift.
- Meeting daily food production quotas.
- Loading and unloading goods off the assembly line.
- Inspect, weigh, sort, and package produce.
- Fast pace, attention to detail, and ability to understand and follow instructions is critical to be successful in a production environment.
- Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (i.e. hair net, hearing protection, plastic or cotton gloves, smocks, and aprons, etc.).
- Read and use weight scales and baking equipment (whisks, measuring cups, funnels, etc.).
- Start/stop/load and unload mixer machines.
Repetitive motions include pulling, pushing, lifting, loading and unloading equipment and containers. Must be able to work safely with products containing allergens (wheat and dairy, as well as eggs and a variety of tree nuts).
