Job Description

Join our New Wave Global team as a Maintenance Electrician/Mechanical Technician, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of machinery and equipment. Responsibilities include inspecting, testing, monitoring equipment, conducting repairs, and replacements. You'll be a key contributor to the success of our plant, bringing expertise to a dynamic environment that values efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement.

• Inspect, diagnose, and resolve issues with electrical, hydraulic, and air systems, ensuring the seamless operation of our machinery.
• Collaborate closely with machine operators to troubleshoot malfunctions and facilitate prompt repairs.
• Independently identify and repair equipment issues within your assigned area with minimal supervision.
• Respond promptly to equipment-related issues in a customer‑oriented manner.
• Diagnose and repair electrical problems including process instrumentation/control systems, 120–480‑volt systems, variable speed drives, and PLC related issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and provide quick, innovative solutions for mechanical equipment breakdowns.
• Modify, repair, install, maintain, improve, and troubleshoot various types of machinery, equipment, and facilities in the manufacturing departments.
• Setup, takedown, and relocate equipment.
• Frequently modify process equipment for new products.
• Provide solutions to routine or unique equipment problems.

Competitive pay ranging from $28.00 to $33.00 per hour, ensuring that your hard work and expertise are duly rewarded.

• 3+ years mechanical/maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• A minimum of a high school education or its equivalent.
• Flexibility to work shift work (days, afternoons, nights).
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to perform in a manufacturing environment—ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
• Time management and organization; ability to multi‑task and react to changing priorities.
