OverviewThe Supervisor of LTL Client Operations is responsible for leading a team of client service representatives to ensure flawless execution of day-to-day LTL freight operations across Odyssey’s managed customer base. This individual is a key front-line leader focused on performance management, team development, and cross-functional coordination to meet client expectations and drive operational success. This role serves as a liaison between operations, procurement, and account management while managing escalations, ensuring KPI adherence, and helping identify and implement service improvements in a fast-paced, tech-enabled 3PL environment.

Manager, LTL Operations.
- Team Leadership & Supervision:
Supervise Team Leads and Logistics Coordinators supporting daily LTL shipment execution, issue resolution, and customer communication. Provide timely feedback, coaching, and mentoring to drive performance and development. Establish and track team-level KPIs, including service level adherence, execution timeliness, and productivity metrics. Oversee scheduling, workload balancing, and performance reviews for direct reports.
- Operational Support & Execution:
Serve as the first point of escalation for operational issues and customer complaints; proactively manage resolution and root cause analysis. Monitor open orders, service exceptions, and delays; ensure real-time communication and corrective action. Partner with procurement to support rating, routing, and carrier assignment processes. Review system data integrity and compliance with business rules and SOPs.
- Cross-Functional Coordination:
Work with Account Management to ensure alignment on customer-specific SOPs and requirements. Participate in customer onboarding and transition efforts to ensure smooth handoffs and go-live success. Facilitate knowledge transfer and communication across sales, carrier operations, and IT as needed to maintain seamless execution.
- Process Improvement & Documentation:
Support standardization of operational procedures, documentation, and best practices across assigned accounts. Assist in deploying new tools, workflows, or technologies aimed at increasing automation or efficiency. Monitor team feedback and industry best practices to suggest process enhancements.
