Quality Assurance Consultant

Genesis
10 is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Kennesaw, GA. This is a 12+ month contract position.

• Understand project requirements, create test strategy, test plan, test cases, review with stakeholders, test execution, lead offshore testers, plan and assign tasks to offshore teams, defect management, communicate test status and report progress, automate tests, produce metrics, provide testing sign off for production release, collaborate with upstream, downstream, product owner, scrum master, developers, etc.
• Perform system and data analysis based on business need including integration testing and data quality validation.
• Create test plans, scripts and artifacts for all phases of testing.
• Identify, document and resolve data quality/data integrity issues.
• Analyze and test DDCT mappings, workflows/sessions and other MW jobs/processes.
• Ensure adherence to locally defined standards.

• 5+ years' of experience in treasury/payment/transactions services.
• 4 years' of Data/File/Database and ETL/Data warehouse testing and proficient in testing all conversions - file to file, file to database, database to file, etc.
• Ability to support parallel projects, in waterfall/agile/etc. development methodology in fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient with mapping and requirements analysis.
• Experience with testing data to support the business requirements.
• Metadata management and data integrity skills.
• Strong knowledge (3 years) in Technologies/Programming such as Core Java, VB Scripting, SQL, Basic Unix, Cucumber.
• Strong command over SQL.
• Ability to write complex queries across different systems - preferred Oracle.
• Shell Scripts/Regular Expressions (Reg Exps)/UNIX experience is a huge asset.
• Strong experience (3 years) in parsing & generating data/files, bank standards, XML and XPath.
• Hands on with Eclipse or Net Beans Project Management;
  Test NG;
  Version Management, Web Services Testing, Litmus, Version control like bitbucket, Selenium, Cucumber.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting, debugging/triaging skills.
