Accountants One is conducting an exclusive search for a Controller role with a growing, Privately Owned Manufacturing Company in the Metro Atlanta area. The company is growing and adding this role to the team to support the key leadership in the organization. The Controller will oversee all accounting functions and support the key executives with budgeting, forecasting, and M &A activity.

Controller will handle the following:

• Responsible for all accounting operations, including month-end close, financial reporting, treasury, and inventory accounting.
• Lead, develop, and support the accounting team to support continued business growth.
• Build and enhance cash flow forecasting, risks, and funding needs for leadership and stakeholders.
• Partner with functional leaders to drive operating efficiency, improved costing, and overall financial performance.
• Handle all audits and tax filings, ensuring compliance with GAAP
• Involved in the finance and accounting function through process, systems, and internal control improvements.
• Support budgeting, FP&A, and ad-hoc financial analysis for leadership and investors.
• Assist with financial due diligence and post-acquisition integration activities.
• Collaborate with IT and Data Analytics, and help with designing and implementing scalable finance and accounting workflows.

Requirements:

• Must have a bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Master's is a plus
• 10+ years of experience ( at least 3-5 years in a controllership type role)
• Must have Manufacturing or distribution experience
• Inventory accounting exp.
• Public accounting and industry experience are a plus
• Internal controls experience
• Helped with any process improvements
• Ability to work cross functionally measure workflow
