Geotechnical Project Engineer

NOVA Engineering is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Project Engineer to join our Kennesaw, GA office.

NOVA works on a diverse range of projects including commercial, industrial, retail, government, office, transportation, and residential developments. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions and exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects from inception to completion.

* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

* Operate and maintain geotechnical testing equipment.

* Classify soil, rock, and geological samples obtained from drilling operations.

* Assist in developing the scope and budget of work for routine projects.

* Analyze data, perform engineering calculations and analysis, and reporting data to clients under the direction of a Professional Engineer.

* Interacts with client and project team.

* Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation and client presentations.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution, or an equivalent international degree with NCEES credential evaluation, is required

* EIT license is required

* 3 - 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering is required

* Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus

* Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
