Department InformationThe Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) provides programs that wire students with in-demand technical and professional skills, including electronics, computing, communications, power, sensing, and controls. We offer ABET-accredited Bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering, along with a Master's in ECE and a PhD in Interdisciplinary Engineering. Our students are well-grounded with hands‑on experience in modern engineering labs integrated with faculty-taught lectures.
We help students spark their careers via internships in the technology industry and research with our expert faculty, and amplify students' technical and non-technical skills via leadership in professional societies and collaboration in engineering competition teams.

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open‑rank, part‑time and limited‑term faculty positions in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering for the academic year . These positions are on an as‑needed, semester‑by‑semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities- Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering areas including circuits and electronics, electromagnetics, signal processing, digital design, embedded programming, and networking. Most courses are face‑to‑face, and may have daytime or evening meeting times.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications To Teach Undergraduate Courses- A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.
