The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) provides programs that wire students with in-demand technical and professional skills, including electronics, computing, communications, power, sensing, and controls. Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position as Clinical Assistant Professor of Innovative Materials in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering with a preferred start date of April 2026. This is a nine-month contracted position and is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia. This position would also serve as the Director of Clean Room Operations, which requires work the entire year (including summer semester).

• Develop, launch, and maintain Kennesaw State University's cleanroom facility (year round). This may include:
  • Oversee acquisition, installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of clean room equipment, including space planning and vendor partnerships
  • Oversee facility and infrastructure needs and changes, including power, water, and gases
  • Oversee scheduling and access management to ensure appropriate use of the facility
  • Coordinate cleanroom activities and provide support for research and instructional activities utilizing the cleanroom
